Feedbuddy…
Just a quick update on Feedbuddy. It seems to be a great idea, but I ran into several issues with it.
- It gave three conact options for other users, and one was required. I am quite certain that won’t have a URL or one of the two contact methods. I went with Skype since my blog is down at the moment.
- After I submitted by Google Reader OMPL, I kept in a tab and waited. About ten minutes later I loked back and it was still loading. However, it turned out that it had in fact uploaded and was in the database.
- I have hundereds of feeds, yet my best match has six feeds in common with me. I assume that this means that not many people use the service yet, but cannot help but wonder about how well it matches.
OSX has nice glossy icons and Gnome has… well… gnome has icons.
Quote from this article. I seriously believe GNOME is falling behind, especially wtih the default icons. KDE, OS X, and Vista all have great default icons in my opion.
